I still keep in contact with some of my college psych professors. To this day I admire them. My sociology profs? To be honest with you, I can't even recall their names.
Usually I get along great with social workers. But there have been a few that didn't appreciate my sense of humor. But what should I expect? They're social workers!
Most of the ones I work with are great. They usually have heavy caseloads and it is a thankless job. But one or two of them... Well let's just say they probably should have chosen another profession.
You pinged yourself! Don't worry. I still do that every now and again... The other reason? That joke is still going around? LOL Whenever I get the chance I use that as a jab to any social worker I come in contact with. That is just too funny!
I didn't think you were still a teenager. "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" is not exactly a must read book right now. But maybe it should be. And Van Morrison? Doubt many college kids even know who that is.

I'm not of typical college age, I will be 35 in a couple of weeks. People tell me I look younger but I'm an old soul I guess. I started school late obviously, I was a lot smarter back in my younger days and decided that I would wait to go to college...I didn't know I would end up waiting as long as I did. Sigh..but I did go back and 1 phase is almost done. Thankfully!! I had to double check to see where you were from to make sure about the Packers. There are some Vikings fans in WI- scary...
LOL about the being a social worker. I don't know how long ago you went to school but guess what...that is still going around Psych departments today! :)
We used to have a joke in our psych dept. in school. Keep up your grades. You don't want to end up being a social worker!
If you'e pre-med, try and go for your MD. Tough work but very rewarding. Don't mean to pry here, but are you a typical college age? The reason I ask is your references to Vam Morrison and Zen. Not typical of today's college student!
You even had to question if I'm a Packer fan? I live in Wisconsin right? LOL At least we can both agree on the Vikings though...
